Dorothy Page celebrated turning 60 years "young" Saturday night (12/22/07) with family and close friends at the Carson Community Center... The party was definitely the place to be as we had great food, had a great time going back down memory lane to 1947 and of course dancing... I'd like to thank Rochelle Jones and Booker Waugh for having me as a part of a special night for a special lady... Rochelle your poem was very nice as was the entire night... I enjoyed myself and hope everyone else did as well...

Thank you again for everything and Merry Christmas...

L.A. County Probation Department's Holiday Party

The Los Angeles County Probation Department had its 17th annual Holiday Party Friday night in the city of Alhambra at the Almansor Court. Awards were given out to staff members recognizing excellence in service, dedication and also acknowledging a few "rookie's of the year" in the department... As usual we had good food, good laughs and good music...

I want to thank "my man" Joe Sills and the entire productivity committee for giving me the opportunity to do my thing last night... That "old school" set was definitely a highlight of the night... I also have to shout out "my man" Kennard Givan for party rockin' on the mic... You did your thing last night Givan and thanks for helping me out after the party as well...

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support. Happy holidays to everyone....

A "Glamorous Evening" was the theme as the 16th birthday was celebrated of Ms. Dia... The room was decorated incredibly by her mother Demetra Cunningham of SBD Events and the food was excellent as always thanks to West Coast Catering. Guests were treated to a candy bar, a video presentation showing some funny photos of Dia through the years, a "Who Knows Dia" trivia game and of course some good music...

Thanks Demetra for having me be a part of such a special night. Happy Birthday Dia...

Southern California Edison Holiday Party 12/1/2007

Southern California Edison started their holiday season off with a serious bang at The Doubletree Hotel in San Pedro... Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner, professional photography services and of course some great music... The real treat of the night were the raffles... Some really great prizes were given away including (2) $250 dollar cash prizes and a grand prize of $500 cash... WOW...

All I can say is next year make sure you but some raffle tickets because we had one repeat winner win about 10-15 prizes alone... I would like to thank "Club Ed" for having me serve as the musical entertainment. Hope to see you all next year....

The Torrance Women's Club was the site of renewed love as Ramon & Kenisha Arvizu reaffirmed their vows in front of family and friends... Guests were also treated to an exceptional original song performed by one of the grooms good friends... As usual we ate some great food, took great pictures and danced the night away...
